We are recruiting on behalf of our government clients for experienced Payroll Officers to join their team on a temporary contract basis with a possibility of extension. ASAP start. Convenient location. Hybrid work environment.

Title: Payroll Officer
Location: Perth CBD and surrounds
Hourly Rate: $55 - $61 plus super
Contract: Temp 6 months with high possibility of extension

Potential to WFH

WA State or Local Government experience (desirable)

System experience:
Preference to Aurion, Ascender or TechOne. However any other larger payroll system experience will be considered.

• Payroll Officer to provide efficient and effective support to the Supervisor Payroll to ensure that all salaries and wages staff are paid in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements.
• Competent and confident payroll performer with excellent attention to detail for weekly pay runs, uploading new users and financial reconciliations.
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, quality assurance, and/or analytical payroll projects
